RP tendencies, current characters and history
Hi! I'm Emily. I've been RPing on LJ, GJ, and IJ since summer 2004, though it didn't really count until early 2005, when I discovered GJ. Harry Potter is my favorite world to play in, and currently all I RP (though I'm not averse to other fandoms). I started out playing in mailing list and message board RPGs, and I've done a teeny tiny bit of tabletop (not D&D) and MUDding.

I gravitate toward Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors (predominantly brunettes, for some reason), and especially girls who play Quidditch, like characters in their late twenties and early thirties, and tend to write women who aren't very feminine. My characters don't fall into relationships easily, but that shouldn't be taken to mean I hate shipping or don't want to ship with them - I nearly always would love to ship with them, but have to slide the characters themselves into it with great caution. I am a sucker for a McCormack - pre-MWPP, MWPP, between-era, trio-era, next-gen... they're by far my favorite family to portray. I hate overuse or misuse of stereotypes and cliches, and don't RP smut: I'm a fade-to-black kind of girl.
